What it does

Cordial brings customer data, personalisation and email, SMS and mobile messaging into one platform. Podium Orchestrations connect triggers with audience filters and automated actions. Prospective customers can request a demonstration, and team members activate individual accounts by email.

A browse follow-up needs a rule for repeated visits as well as the first trigger. Cordial's Podium delay can preserve the original timer, restart it after another qualifying event, or create a separate delayed action for each event. Choose deliberately: several visits should not accidentally become several follow-ups.

The automation runs through delay, audience filter and action in that order. A contact filtered out of a child automation can remain eligible for its sibling automations, so inspect parallel paths when reviewing the audience.

Copy a published orchestration to a draft for structural edits while its live version continues running. Republishing an orchestration with experiments resets its real-time analytics; keep past versions in view when comparing activity. Email, SMS, mobile and other actions also depend on the capabilities enabled in the account. Cordial currently directs prospective users to a demonstration with its team.

To add a colleague, open Settings, choose Users and select Invite. Enter the person's email address and role. The invitation remains pending until they follow the activation link and set a username and password, so allow time for this before handing over a live campaign.

Strengths

  • Repeated events can preserve, restart or create separate delayed actions
  • A draft can be edited while the published orchestration continues

Watch out for

  • Republishing an orchestration containing experiments resets its real-time analytics

Best for

  • Retail lifecycle teams coordinating triggered messages over customer and order data
