What it does
Creatsy sells PSD mockup templates and collections for clothing, textiles, packaging and home products. Its catalogue includes less generic objects such as baby clothing, bedding and towels, alongside bundles and other design assets.
Creatsy has unusually specific textile and home-product categories, including baby sleepwear, bedding, curtains, bathroom textiles and fabric rolls. A set can supply several views of the same object for a pattern collection or product presentation.
The Cuffed Sleepsuit set, for example, contains front, back and close-up PSDs. In Photoshop or Photopea, open the Smart Object, insert your pattern and save it. Fabric, neckline and zip colours have separate controls; the object and shadow layers can be hidden or moved. This set specifies Photoshop CC 2020 or later, with Photopea as an alternative, and supports transparent output.
Licences cover one business and require a separate seat for each person accessing the files. Commercial and Freebie licences allow up to 5,000 end products for sale; Extended Commercial raises this to 250,000. The editable files cannot be redistributed, and the licence does not allow customers to customise products through a print-on-demand or made-to-order application.
Strengths
- Specialist categories cover textiles, babywear and home products.
- Product pages specify editable parts, included views and software requirements.
Watch out for
- Each person who accesses the resource files needs a licence seat.
- Customer-controlled product customisation is excluded by the licence.
Best for
- Surface-pattern and textile designers presenting product collections
