What it does
Cronofy provides calendar infrastructure for products that need to connect user calendars, check availability, and write or synchronize events. Its docs cover APIs and embeddable scheduling components; it is not a personal calendar app.
A product team can authorize calendar connections, ask when users are free, and create or update meetings in connected calendars. Cronofy lists Google, Microsoft, Apple, and on-premise Exchange, with free/busy-only or read/write access. See its product page and developer documentation.
The API pricing page separates subscription plans from metered usage. Estimate account volume and use case before selecting a plan; no API request was sent.
Strengths
- Connects several calendar-provider types and checks availability.
- Can write or synchronize events created by an integrating product.
- Includes embeddable scheduling components.
Watch out for
- Developer infrastructure, not an end-user calendar.
- Pricing depends on product use and account scale.
Best for
- SaaS teams embedding calendar sync or booking
- Software teams coordinating availability across users
