What it does

Cryptio normalizes digital-asset records from chains and financial systems for accounting, reconciliation, close review and ERP exports. Institutions can compare transaction and balance records across wallets, custodians and exchanges, then send prepared data to their accounting systems. Pricing and implementation are agreed with Cryptio.

Cryptio prepares digital-asset data for institutional back-office work. Ingestion combines blockchain, exchange, custodian and internal-system records, then normalizes them into a shared data model.

Trace differences before the close

Reconciliation can work at transaction, asset and wallet level. Transaction hashes or unique identifiers help connect the same activity across systems, while materiality settings determine which balance differences need attention. A finance team can investigate a reporting difference by following the prepared record back to the underlying activity.

The Close Center brings reconciliation, unlabelled-transaction review and close progress together. Audit logs preserve changes along the way. Accounting exports and integrations then move the prepared information to the ERP or other reporting systems.

Cryptio can also ingest records from BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon S3 and SFTP. Its API supplies matched records, balance snapshots and discrepancy logs to other systems. These options matter for institutions that need the accounting record and their wider data warehouse to use the same processed digital-asset activity.

Commercial access

Discuss the required data sources, modules, accounting outputs and implementation with Cryptio for a quote. The service is sold by agreement rather than a public flat-rate plan. Its terms provide for annual renewal, with notice at least two months before renewal to avoid the next term.

The available integrations do not remove the team's work of resolving unmatched records or determining the accounting treatment. Include those review responsibilities when planning the close workflow.

Strengths

  • Reconciliation can connect transaction, asset and wallet-level checks
  • Reconciliation outputs include matched records, balance snapshots and discrepancy logs
  • Close Center groups reconciliation and unlabelled-transaction review

Watch out for

  • Unmatched records still need investigation and accounting decisions
  • The annual agreement requires advance notice before renewal

Best for

  • Institutional finance teams consolidating digital-asset data from several systems
  • Organizations needing crypto accounting outputs in an ERP or data warehouse
