What it does
CryptoFonts provides cryptocurrency SVG logos, a webfont and a separate token-data API for application interfaces.
The API’s chain-and-contract lookup addresses a different problem from selecting an SVG by its display name. A token symbol alone can be ambiguous, so a wallet interface should keep identity metadata with the artwork it displays. For a fixed list, the icon catalog and vector files may be sufficient without runtime lookup.
The website distinguishes an open-source/personal route and commercial licensing, while represented names and logos retain their owners’ trademark rights. The legacy webfont is another delivery form within the same project. Establish the exact icon package and license needed before integrating it into a distributed application.
Strengths
- Vector artwork, webfont and token-identity tooling serve different integration needs.
- The API uses chain and token-address information rather than only a symbol.
Best for
- Cryptocurrency interfaces linking logos with token identities
