What it does
CSVJSON converts CSV, TSV, pasted tables, and JSON. Its settings control delimiters, numeric parsing, null handling, transposition, object keys, and nested-data flattening.
Paste a table/JSON or open a local file, then copy or download the result. Conversion runs in the browser; the site says files and output are not uploaded. File decoding offers UTF-8 or Windows-1252, while pasted text is UTF-8. Choose Pipe explicitly because auto-detection only considers comma, semicolon and tab. Numeric parsing preserves leading-zero/very long IDs; disabling it keeps other numeric cells as strings but does not disable Parse JSON. Uppercase NULL conversion is case-sensitive. JSON-to-CSV Flatten turns nested arrays into extra rows with dotted keys, which can change the output's shape.
Strengths
- Exposes parsing decisions that can otherwise change field meanings.
Watch out for
- Pipe-separated input needs an explicit separator choice.
Best for
- Preparing small structured-data exchanges with controlled parsing
