What it does
Cryptainer creates encrypted virtual drives for Windows files and removable media, with a Lite offering limited to small vaults.
Cryptainer's virtual-drive model lets a user place ordinary files inside a mounted vault. The Lite page describes multiple vaults of up to 100 MB, a useful constraint to know before choosing it for a large document collection. Start with a nonessential test collection and plan how the vault and password will be retained. A portable removable-drive arrangement is described on the site, but the same recovery and storage policy still applies to every copy.
