What it does
DAFilms offers documentary and other cinema through subscriptions, individual streams or downloads, and selected free programmes.
Choose a director or festival programme, then inspect the film’s access options. Subscription covers the catalogue available in your territory, with some films sold separately. Limited free programmes also require registration.
A one-off stream is available for up to 48 hours after purchase. A purchased download stays on your computer for offline viewing, a different output from streaming in the browser. The FAQ says travel retains the registered-country catalogue, while individual titles can still have licensing restrictions.
Watch out for
- Subscription access depends on territory, and some films require a separate transaction.
