What it does
Darkroom edits photographs and video in an Apple Photos workflow, using color curves, selective masks and presets.
Darkroom’s live edit is not yet the version other apps see. After adjusting the photo, use Export: Save updates the existing Photos-library item, while Save Copy makes a separate exported photo. The help says Save can be reverted through Apple Photos; Reset Edits inside Darkroom does not undo a version already written to Photos. Access is another practical boundary. Current help says you may try premium editing tools without membership, but exporting requires Darkroom+. Monthly, yearly and one-time Forever options unlock the same current premium feature set, with prices depending on the account’s country and offers.
