What it does

Dashword researches competing pages, builds shareable briefs and provides content-scoring feedback. Its product also describes post-publication monitoring and keyword reports for existing pages.

Dashword gives each new account a free first report. Draft scoring is free and unlimited; creating more keyword reports uses paid capacity. Every account with a verified email address can use the API and MCP connection, including free accounts.

From a keyword to a draft

Enter a keyword, choose the country and select Generate report. Open the finished report to inspect competing pages, benchmarks and suggested terms. Create new article opens the editor, where terms already used can be hidden and irrelevant suggestions muted. A public article link gives a freelance writer access to that report and editor without exposing other projects.

Startup includes 30 reports and five user seats; Business starts at 100 reports and ten seats, adding bulk report creation and single sign-on. Existing data remains accessible after cancellation, but additional keyword reports cannot be generated. This distinction makes an existing brief usable for later draft revisions.

Strengths

  • Separates paid research reports from unlimited draft scoring.
  • Offers API and MCP access to verified free accounts as well as paid plans.

Watch out for

  • Additional keyword reports require paid report capacity.

Best for

  • Content teams combining editorial briefs with connected draft feedback
