What it does
Dati.gov.it provides Italy's national open-data catalogue and information about federated catalogues and publishing administrations.
The national catalogue exposes format filters including CSV, JSON, XLSX, GeoJSON, SHP and NetCDF, which help narrow a search to files a project can use. Check the publishing administration and resource metadata before retrieving a result. Protected-data information and the DGA sections have separate routes from open-data discovery.
Strengths
- Catalogue filters cover tabular, geospatial and scientific file formats
Best for
- Finding Italian public data in a required file format
