What it does
Dayforce connects HR, payroll and workforce management. Its scheduling tools use demand, pay rates and employee preferences to build staffing plans, while employees can request shift swaps through the mobile app. Product access follows the employer's configuration, and sales supplies a tailored price estimate.
Dayforce scheduling uses historical demand and recent trends to build schedules around staffing needs, labor budgets and employee preferences. Centralized scheduling can share workers across locations, and dashboards expose attendance and unplanned overtime.
In the iOS app, open a scheduled shift and tap Swap. Search for a coworker or choose a suggested person, set the date range and select the proposed replacement shift. Continue lets you check the details before Submit Request. The coworker receives the request; after acceptance, it goes to a manager if approval is required. The search initially covers the next month.
The app is available to Dayforce customers and their employees, with features enabled by the employer. Login uses the company ID and account credentials or company single sign-on. Pricing is a tailored sales estimate for the selected functions and services.
