What it does
The Database of Classical Scholars provides biographical and bibliographical entries with expert career assessments and, where available, portraits.
Use a scholar's entry to connect a name in a bibliography with the person's wider work. The career assessment adds context to the publication information, which helps when studying the history of a field. Entries can also identify further reading about how an interpretation or research tradition developed.
