What it does
Debt Payoff Planner models repayment schedules from the debt balances, annual percentage rates and minimum payments you enter. It compares payoff orders and extra-payment scenarios, then tracks actual payments against the plan. An account is required, with free use and an optional Pro subscription.
Build and adjust a repayment model
Create an account and enter each balance, annual percentage rate (APR), minimum payment and due date. Strategy offers snowball, avalanche or a custom order. Changing the extra-payment amount changes the projected schedule; it does not arrange a payment with a lender.
The detail fields also accommodate promotional rates, their end dates and different minimum-payment calculations. In Tracking, record what was actually paid, accrued interest and any new charges. The balance and remaining plan then recalculate.
Read the date as a projection
The planner assumes the minimum payments can be covered. Its completion date depends on the entered rates, charges and future payments. Free and Pro versions are offered, and the feature guide identifies access across multiple devices as a Pro benefit.
