What it does
Deepfake Detector is an AI tool that identifies whether an audio, video, or image is real or synthetic. It runs separate detectors for video, image, and voice, and returns a verdict, a confidence score, and the signals behind it. It is built for individuals, newsrooms, banks, insurers, and security teams that need to check media before acting on it.
Deepfake Detector checks whether a voice clip, video, or image was made by AI. You upload a file, paste a URL, or right-click media on a page with the Chrome extension, then read a verdict, a confidence score, and the signals that drove it. The free plan includes 50 detections per month, with limits of up to 2 minutes of voice and 2 minutes of video per detection. Paid plans raise the monthly detection count, extend files to 10 minutes, and add API access, PDF and CSV export, and email support. The site says files are purged after analysis, and EU residency is available on Business plans and above. One sample verdict on the page is marked INCONCLUSIVE because heavy compression masked the usual markers, so results can be limited by source quality. The tool returns probability scores rather than absolute proof, so it works best as one part of a verification process.

- Returns probability scores, not definitive proof
- API access requires a paid plan
