What it does
DeltaWalker Classic provides text editing and merging, three-way comparison, reports, encoding tools and folder comparison or synchronization.
DeltaWalker Classic’s text merge offers directional replace, insert and delete controls on difference blocks. Use the arrows to choose which side supplies a change. Automatic merging is specific to a three-way comparison: it uses the ancestor to reconcile non-conflicting changes, then leaves conflicts highlighted for a manual decision. Undo and redo also track the automatic merge. This gives a revision review a clear stopping point: resolve the remaining highlighted conflicts before treating the merged text as complete.
