What it does
Swiss Post Design System supplies web components, CSS styles, design tokens and icons for the Swiss Post web platform. Angular and React wrappers sit alongside integrations for PrimeNG and AG Grid.
Swiss Post separates its design system into packages for different parts of a web interface. The styles package includes theming for Bootstrap and ng-bootstrap, while the components package contains standards-based Web Components built with Stencil. React and Angular projects can use dedicated wrappers.
For the Web Components, install @swisspost/design-system-components with npm and follow the linked technical documentation. Teams already using PrimeNG or AG Grid can choose the corresponding Swiss Post styles or theme package. There is also a separate internet-header package for the header and footer of client-facing Swiss Post applications.
The software is free under Apache 2.0, with public packages available without a product account. This is most useful when the interface needs to follow Swiss Post’s visual language: its package structure lets a team select the relevant implementation layer without treating every resource as one installation.
Strengths
- Styles, Web Components and framework wrappers are available as separate packages.
- Dedicated integrations cover PrimeNG and AG Grid.
Best for
- Teams building or maintaining interfaces for the Swiss Post web platform
