What it does
Deutschlandradio explains podcast access for Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Deutschlandfunk Nova.
Choose a programme from Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur or Deutschlandfunk Nova, then use its Subscribe button to open a compatible podcast app. You can also copy the feed URL into a player manually or find the programme through that player's search. Subscriptions are free.
A podcast client can download new episodes automatically, which suits listening away from the broadcast schedule; the guide notes that this behaviour can usually be disabled. Both radio catch-up and podcast-specific formats are available. Check the individual programme's archive rather than assuming every past broadcast remains.
