What it does

DexHunter compares liquidity across Cardano exchanges and builds wallet-signed token swaps. Its app serves traders, while partner APIs and widgets expose routing, limit orders and scheduled trades. Available order types depend on the exchange used.

For a wallet swap, connect a Cardano wallet, choose the paying amount and output token, then compare the quote before confirmation. DexHunter says this flow needs neither registration nor identity verification. Network and exchange charges still apply and appear in the cost breakdown.

The integration tools expose more route controls. A swap request supplies the assets, amount and slippage tolerance, and can exclude chosen exchanges. The response identifies how the amount is split and the expected output on each route. A developer can estimate first, then build the transaction, obtain the wallet signature and submit it. Building a transaction alone does not execute it.

Limit orders add a target price and can be split into several orders. Scheduled trading, called dollar-cost averaging (DCA), separates an amount into repeated trades using an interval, number of cycles and slippage limit. An allowed-exchange list narrows where those scheduled trades can run. These controls automate a schedule; they do not ensure a favorable price.

Exchange coverage differs by order type. Some connected exchanges support swaps, limits and DCA, while others support swaps only. Partner integrations require an API key obtained through the partner dashboard. Partners can configure a fee, so an embedded widget may have different costs from another route into DexHunter.

Strengths

  • Quotes expose the amount and output for each route
  • Limit orders can be split into several requests
  • Scheduled trades have interval, cycle and exchange controls

Watch out for

  • Not every connected exchange supports every order type
  • Integration access requires a partner API key
  • Partner-configured fees can change the cost of an embedded widget

Best for

  • Cardano traders and developers comparing routes or configuring repeated orders
