What it does
TextCrawler searches and replaces text across files and folders, with regular expressions, saved batch jobs, extraction and replacement previews.
Preview the matches and replacement differences in TextCrawler before choosing how to write the result. A job can update the original files or use new names or another output folder; backup controls are available for file changes. The tool advertises ANSI, UTF-8 and UTF-16 text, regular expressions, saved batches and extraction with post-processing. Check the edition against the required job: limited Free 3.1.2 and Pro 3.1.3 are separate downloads, and Pro has a 15-day trial. The downloads page lists Windows Vista through 11 and .NET Framework 4.5 or later.
