What it does

DirectIQ provides email automation for family entertainment centres, trampoline parks and activity venues. It connects supported POS systems to birthday offers, win-back campaigns and newsletters. An account can use a monthly subscription or paid email credits that do not expire.

A birthday campaign starts with the date field, not the email layout. DirectIQ can take birthday data from supported venue POS systems; a missing date can instead be collected through a form or supplied in an import. Guests with a birthday on file enter the flow according to the configured send window.

A venue can use one offer or a sequence with a teaser, main message and final reminder. Customise the offer and window around what the guest needs time to book. The platform links redemption codes back to POS transactions, giving the operator a defined campaign record rather than just an open count.

Access can use recurring contact-based plans or non-expiring pay-as-you-go email credits. Essential includes six emails per contact each month. Unlimited removes the monthly send limit and includes unlimited previews and Spam Doctor checks. Birthday flows are also available through pay-as-you-go, so a seasonal operator can choose the billing model separately from the workflow.

Strengths

  • Supported venue POS systems can supply birthday data without repeated manual exports
  • Birthday automation is available with recurring or credit-based access

Watch out for

  • Guests without a recorded birthday need another data-collection route
  • Essential has a contact-related send allowance

Best for

  • Activity venues connecting guest birthday offers with their POS and booking cycle
