What it does
DirectPoll runs browser-based audience polls without an organizer account. Participants vote from their own devices while the host controls questions and displays results. Creating and running polls is free, with optional paid extensions for longer availability.
Enter questions and answer options, supply an email address and choose Create poll and send links by e-mail. Keep Cockpit for administration, share Vote with participants and open Result on the audience display.
Start / Next advances the session. Pause suspends responses; Resume continues. Stop preserves counts, while Reset all votes clears them. A question-specific results link stays on that question instead of following the live session.
Free polling and longer access
Free use supports up to 500 connected voters at once, including result displays and Excel export. A standard poll expires 30 days after its last save. Save again before expiry or buy a Plus extension when a recurring course or meeting needs a longer window.
Each extension adds a year. Supporter status instead extends all polls linked to the purchaser's email for its term. Expired polls can be renewed for roughly eighteen months after expiry, restoring their questions and results. Check the CHF total on the confirmation screen before purchasing an extension.
