What it does

Disciple provides branded iOS, Android and web communities with posts, groups, courses, events and memberships. Teams manage content, members and app design through the Disciple Console. Disciple allows 30 days of evaluation before asking for card details. Paid billing is annual or quarterly.

The Disciple Console is where a team designs the community and later manages its content and members. The web version is available during the trial, while the branded mobile apps launch with the selected identity and features. A professional network can use invite-link reporting and course-progress information to see how people join and where participation stops.

Private groups have a specific admission workflow. After signing into the Console, open View Requests in the Action Centre to reach the group-management page. Accept people individually, use Accept All or select the cross to decline a request. Declined applicants are not notified, which matters if your membership process needs an explanation by email.

Pro adds Zapier, multiple membership tiers and more detailed analytics. Organisation adds custom API integrations and single sign-on. Video storage includes member uploads and livestream recordings.

The thirty-day trial requires no card and starts through the demo or consultation process. Subscription billing is annual or quarterly, with sales tax extra and thirty days' notice required to cancel. Apple and Google developer accounts are separate costs for publishing the branded apps. Disciple takes no commission on community sales, although payment processors still charge their fees.

Strengths

  • One console manages the app, community content and members
  • Private-group requests can be approved individually or together
  • Invite-link and course-progress reports show specific participation patterns

Watch out for

  • The base plan limits administrators, groups, courses and video minutes
  • Unlimited features remain subject to fair usage

Best for

  • Organisations seeking their own branded community app with managed platform operations
