What it does
DiskCryptor is an open-source drive-encryption project supporting Windows partitions and documented UEFI/GPT boot workflows.
DiskCryptor encrypts Windows partitions and supports a UEFI/GPT boot workflow. Its current FAQ says Secure Boot is not supported out of the box because the bootloader is unsigned; using Secure Boot requires an administrator's own enrolled signing key. It also documents a boot-chain failure after some Windows updates. Keep independent data and volume-header backups: the header backup is password-encrypted, and losing both a usable header and its backup can lose access. The project cannot recover a forgotten password. Check the exact boot arrangement before encrypting a system drive.
