What it does

DNS.SB is a public DNS resolver with DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS options and device-specific configuration guides.

DNS.SB is a hosted resolver with DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS setup paths for desktop and mobile clients. Select the protocol your device supports and understand which applications will use it. The January 2026 privacy policy says DNS query domains, related IP addresses and query timestamps are not recorded. It separately describes aggregate website analytics through a self-hosted Plausible instance. Those are provider statements about its service, not an independent audit. Encrypting DNS protects that resolver connection; destination sites still receive ordinary application traffic.
