What it does
Docmosis merges data with templates made in Word or LibreOffice Writer. It supports conditional content, repeated tables, images, calculations, and PDF, DOCX, ODT, or text output.
Create an office template, then send its name, matching data, an access key and an output filename to the render service. A .pdf extension selects PDF output; the Cloud endpoint must match the region holding the templates. Cloud usage counts generated pages, including expansion from repeated data, rather than template pages or document count. Occasional overruns are allowed, but sustained excess can require an upgrade or a limit. Self-hosted licences are perpetual per application/project, with edition-specific converter/template limits and 12 months of support and updates.
Strengths
- Lets template authors maintain layouts in familiar office editors.
Watch out for
- Cloud usage is page-based; self-hosted licences remain limited by project, converters and templates.
Best for
- Organizations generating repeat business documents from structured data
