What it does

Momentum DEX exchanges Sui tokens through concentrated liquidity pools. Traders choose a token pair and slippage limit, while liquidity providers decide the price range in which their deposits can earn fees.

Momentum's exchange separates the simple token swap from the more involved task of managing a liquidity position. Its Sui pools concentrate deposits within chosen price ranges, so the amount available around the current price matters to both traders and providers. MSafe treasury tools and other Momentum products serve different purposes; the exchange's Trade and Liquidity screens are the relevant starting points here.

Open the app and choose Connect Wallet at the top right. The wallet guide includes OKX and other Sui compatible wallets. Approve the connection in the wallet, then open Trade, select the selling and receiving tokens and enter an amount. The settings button in the swap panel controls Maximum Slippage, the permitted change from the quoted outcome. Choose Swap Now and check the wallet's transaction prompt before approving.

The fee page lists six pool tiers: 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.25%, 1% and 2%. The applicable pool tier matters more than assuming every swap has the lowest advertised charge. By default, 20% of the swap fee goes to the treasury; this is a share of that fee, not an extra 20% of the trade. Network transaction costs are separate.

To supply liquidity, open Liquidity, find the pair and select Add Liquidity. A price range can be set with a percentage preset, the chart sliders or manually entered bounds. The Single Token Deposit switch is available in Set Deposit Amounts. After entering the deposit, choose Add Liquidity and confirm in the wallet. A position stops earning trading fees while the market price is outside its range. Earned fees are tracked separately and can be claimed without withdrawing the position. A liquidity position can lose value as token prices change, even while it earns fees.

Momentum's terms require legal adulthood and the ability to enter a binding contract. They also exclude sanctioned parties and a specified list of territories, including Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarus and Iran. Read the full restriction list before connecting; having a compatible Sui wallet does not by itself establish permission to use the interface.

Strengths

  • Liquidity ranges can be entered manually or adjusted on a chart
  • The swap panel provides a Maximum Slippage control

Watch out for

  • A liquidity position outside its range stops earning trading fees
  • Interface access is subject to age and territorial restrictions

Best for

  • Sui wallet users comparing token swaps
  • Liquidity providers who want explicit control over a pool position range
