What it does
Parole plays local media, discs and live streams through GStreamer, with plugin extensibility and Xfce integration.
Parole plays local media, DVD/CD and live streams through GStreamer within an Xfce-oriented interface. Configuration and command-line guides provide ways to fit playback into the desktop, while plugins extend functions around the player.
The required-package list names GTK, GLib, D-Bus and GStreamer components. When a format is missing, check the installed media stack and codec plugins as well as the player settings.
