What it does
DOKU combines Indonesian payment acceptance with catalogues, recurring billing and payout services. Merchants can use its dashboard or mobile tools for payment links, or connect a website through plugins and programming interfaces. There is no setup or monthly platform charge on the published offer, but successful transactions and some integration routes carry fees.
To create a link, go to Accept Payments > Payment Link > Create Payment Link. Choose a fixed amount or let the payer enter an amount, then add a description or item lines. Item quantities can have minimum and maximum values. Set the expiry and customer details before sharing.
A link can accept repeated payments or allow one bill to be paid in parts, with a minimum instalment amount. These settings cannot be combined, and either disables expiry extension. The link view distinguishes unpaid, partially paid, paid and expired requests. This helps a service business follow a staged bill without treating the first instalment as full payment.
Fees for the Indonesian offer
The published processing rates exclude VAT.
| Method | Standard fee |
|---|---|
| Visa, Mastercard or JCB, paid in full | 2.8% + IDR2,000 |
| American Express | 3.5% + IDR2,000 |
| Listed virtual accounts except BCA | IDR4,000 |
| BCA virtual account | IDR4,500 |
| DOKU Wallet or DANA | 1.5% |
Payment Link and Digital Catalog have no additional product charge. The plugin route adds a 0.2% platform fee to the payment-method charge. Other methods, instalments and payouts have separate rates.
Create the account, verify the email code and choose Personal, Corporate or International. Personal accounts are restricted to Indonesian citizens; Corporate means an Indonesian legal entity, and International covers entities outside Indonesia.
For actual charges, use Settings > Finance Settings > Fee Scheme. Settlement goes to a verified bank account automatically, with timing dependent on the payment method.
