What it does
DrumGizmo is an open-source drum plugin and standalone application with layered hits and separate audio channels.
Load a compatible drumkit and feed DrumGizmo a MIDI part, then route its separate outputs for mixing. The standalone MIDI renderer can write one WAV file per channel; live MIDI input also supports use as a sampler for an electronic kit.
Velocity layers and an optional humanizer affect the triggered hits. Choose the standalone, LV2 or VSTi route to fit your system and host; the open drumkit format does not settle the licence of every third-party kit.
