What it does
Du Chinese provides graded reading and listening material with word lookup, translations and grammar explanations.
Choose a story at a level where you can follow the plot, then use lookup only when a word blocks meaning. Du Chinese keeps the explanation within the reading, and native-speaker audio gives a second pass through the text. Alternating reading and listening can reveal whether the difficulty lies in characters or in recognizing the spoken words.
Basic access is limited to free lessons. Premium opens the full archive on both the website and app and renews until cancelled. Use the free selection to test whether the graded story and audio are manageable before committing to the wider library.
