What it does

Dyad is a desktop AI app builder you download and run on your own machine. It turns chat prompts into full-stack web apps, keeps project files on disk, and works offline with local models. It connects to Supabase or Neon for databases and auth, deploys to GitHub and Vercel, and uses any AI model, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Ollama and LM Studio. You bring your own API keys and export clean Next.js code.

Downloads are offered for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux packages including .deb, .rpm and AppImage. A stable release and a beta release channel are listed separately. The quickstart guide walks through installing Node.js, setting up AI access, and creating a first app. Dyad Free requires no sign-up; Dyad Pro and Dyad Max are paid tiers at $20 per month and $79 per month. The source code is on GitHub at github.com/dyad-sh/dyad.
