What it does
DZB Lesen is a German library and production centre for accessible literature. Its services include braille, audio, large print, music notation and tactile material.
Start with the borrowing section if the aim is a library loan, or the shop if you need to own a particular accessible edition. Keeping those routes separate matters because DZB produces material as well as lending it. The range is useful when ordinary audiobook access does not cover braille, large print or tactile reading needs.
The library FAQ requires a registered account and proof of the print-related impairment; borrowing itself is free. It lists DAISY audio, BRL braille and EPUB downloads through the catalogue or app, with monthly and simultaneous-title limits. The shop remains a separate purchase route.
