What it does
EarthExplorer provides a public interface for locating Earth-observation scenes and related geospatial data.
Define an area with a place name, coordinates or the map, add a date range, and select the dataset before reviewing scene results. Browse images and footprints help inspect candidates. Scene downloads and orders require login; reference basemaps cannot be downloaded. A service notice schedules maintenance on 28 October 2026 from 7 a.m. to about 2 p.m. CT.
