What it does

Sortbase is a Chrome extension that keeps AI conversations in one place. Chats from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok are saved into a shared folder tree with unlimited nested folders and cloud sync across devices. A prompt library stores reusable prompts with variable placeholders, opened by typing a colon in any chat input. Keyword search finds a chat by the words inside it, and one-click transfer sends a full conversation to another model as an attachment. It installs free from the Chrome Web Store, with a 7-day trial followed by $10 per month or $100 per year. Support is reachable at [email protected].

Sortbase runs as a sidebar alongside the four supported AI platforms: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. Folders are nested and sync across Chrome windows through an encrypted cloud backend. Prompts can include variable placeholders that Sortbase fills in before inserting the text. Search works on the words inside filed chats rather than titles alone, across all four platforms. The company states it stores only the chats you file or transfer and the prompts you add. Sortbase LLC is registered in Austin, Texas, with a verified Chrome Web Store publisher record. It works in Chromium browsers that install extensions from the Chrome Web Store, including Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and Vivaldi. The panel is in English. The listing reports 4.0 stars from 400+ ratings.
