What it does
eBooks.com sells ebooks in several formats and supports online reading as well as downloads. Each book page lists its format and print or copy permissions.
Check the format and device fit before buying. The billing address is used to verify publisher sales rights for your country, so a listing does not guarantee that every reader can purchase it. After purchase, the online bookshelf provides a browser-reading route.
For a desktop download, the current guide uses Thorium Reader: open the downloaded LCP license file and enter the Reading Key supplied by eBooks.com. That is a different workflow from downloading an unrestricted EPUB, and it is worth checking before choosing the store for a particular device.
The buying guide permits guest checkout, but says an account is needed later. Check copy and print permissions on the product page before purchase; the browser reader and protected desktop download remain separate reading routes.
