What it does
ElectionBuddy builds ballots for elections, motions and organizational votes. Administrators can simulate a ballot from the review page or run a separate test through notices, voting and results. ElectionVote is free for up to 20 eligible voters, with paid per-election tiers for larger lists and added controls. MeetingVote has separate pricing.
ElectionBuddy's Test the Ballot task on the Review Page is a simulation. Make selections, continue to the review, submit and reach confirmation to complete it. Exiting early leaves the task incomplete. The simulated selections do not enter the actual results. Test invitations also differ from live voter notices.
To check the full process, choose Test under Vote Options on the Details Page. This mode can use every feature with up to five test voters and includes sending notices, voting and sharing results. Afterward, duplicate the test vote from the dashboard for the actual vote.
ElectionVote pricing
| Plan | Fee per election | Eligible voters |
|---|---|---|
| Free | USD 0 | Up to 20 |
| Plus | USD 29 | Up to 350 |
| Premium | USD 99 | Up to 1,000 |
| Professional | From USD 299 | Larger elections, up to 100,000 |
Plus adds weighted voting and one reminder. Premium adds voter groups, three reminders and text notices. Professional adds API access, webhooks and postal options. Free results remain accessible for 30 days. MeetingVote has a separate per-meeting tariff, and annual arrangements are available.
Administrators register with their name, email, password and organization details, then confirm by email. Creating and testing a vote needs no card; payment is due when a paid election starts.
