What it does
Electronics 2000 provides resistor, capacitor, LED, power, reactance and other circuit calculators with related technical references.
Electronics 2000 separates browser component calculators from its free Windows Electronics Assistant companion, which adds saved/printed results. The LED worksheet offers a generic-type estimate or supply voltage plus the LED's specified forward voltage/current; use the supplier's values when known. Voltage inputs use volts and the current field uses milliamps, while the displayed formula R=(Vs−Vf)/If uses amps. It also offers E12/E24/E48/E96/E192 preferred values. The related guide notes that current-limiting applications may need the next higher value rather than simply the nearest. Browser results are rounded to three decimal places with multiplier suffixes. Electronics Assistant 4.32 requires .NET 4.7.2 or later; the page describes it as a maintenance release.
