What it does

Envato Elements combines stock footage and photography with music, graphics, fonts and editing templates. Paid plans provide unlimited stock downloads under a fair-use policy and add monthly AI credits. A free account gives access to a smaller Free Files collection under separate terms.

Licence each stock item for its project

A stock-photo or footage licence is created for one specific project. To reuse an item elsewhere, return to My Downloads and create a new licence while subscribed. Complete the end product during the active term to keep that project covered after cancellation. Downloading an item alone does not reserve it for later projects.

The Free Files policy also permits commercial work, including a client project, but each free file can be used for only one end product. It cannot be redistributed as a source asset or used in a service where customers customise products on demand.

Choose stock access and AI allowance

Core includes 20 AI credits a month, Plus 200, and Ultimate offers larger allowances. All include the stock catalogue; Teams and Enterprise add shared access arrangements. The subscription does not include purchases from the separate Envato Market.

For templates, the downloaded ZIP may contain author instructions, but direct technical support for individual items is not included.

Strengths

  • Stock footage, images and production templates share a catalogue
  • A free account provides full catalogue browsing without payment details

Watch out for

  • Free files permit only one end product each
  • Direct technical support for individual items is not included

Best for

  • Creators using several asset types in recurring client projects
