What it does
Elmedia Player plays media on macOS and provides casting, subtitle, audio-delay and image-adjustment controls.
For a file whose sound is offset, adjust audio delay rather than changing playback speed. Elmedia also provides subtitle management, track switching and playlists for local Mac viewing.
The FAQ says those essential playback functions are free. Activation is needed for advanced tools such as picture adjustments, screenshot series and streaming to external devices. A casting workflow therefore needs a different entitlement from simply watching a file; compare the Pro version and receiving device before choosing it.
Strengths
- Audio delay and subtitle controls help adjust a viewing file.
