What it does
eMathHelp groups calculators across algebra, geometry, calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, statistics and linear programming.
eMathHelp organizes calculators by course topic, including calculus, matrices, probability, discrete mathematics and linear programming. Its derivative tool takes a function, differentiation count, variable and optional evaluation point, with steps showing the differentiation rules. The documented order limit is ten. Leaving the variable empty requests autodetection; leaving the point empty keeps the derivative unevaluated at a particular point. Its displayed example differentiates x·sin(2x) using product and chain rules to obtain sin(2x)+2x·cos(2x). Separate links lead to implicit and logarithmic differentiation calculators. Set the intended variable explicitly when an expression contains more than one, and distinguish a derivative function from its value at one point.
