What it does
emerchantpay lets businesses accept payments through a hosted form, a custom API connection or a virtual terminal. Its payment-link workflow can send a branded form by email or SMS, then track completion in the Gateway Console. Merchants apply for an account, receive integration credentials and arrange the payment methods and fees covered by their service agreement.
Choose how customers reach the payment form
emerchantpay's hosted Web Payment Form can use your logo and colors, with an option to embed it in an iframe. A server-to-server integration offers more control over the checkout, while the virtual terminal allows payment collection without an active online storefront. Available methods depend on what is enabled for the merchant account.
Send a link and follow its status
After obtaining an account and Gateway Console access, ask for Pay By Link to be enabled specifically. In the virtual terminal, enter the payment details and any customer or billing information to prefill, then choose a shareable URL, email or SMS delivery. Select the enabled transaction types and generate the link.
The customer opens the configured hosted form. Staff can track completion in Payment Transactions, configure reminder frequency and channels, and adjust email templates. If the business does not handle server notifications, its account manager can enable email notifications for completed link payments.
Reconcile the amount that reaches settlement
Billing Transactions lets finance staff filter records and export the results as CSV or Excel. The records distinguish the customer's amount, commission and transaction fees, with the applicable charges set by the Merchant Service Agreement. This helps explain the difference between the sale and the settlement amount.
The transaction-date filter accepts a maximum seven-day window. A payment also needs an applicable billing statement before it appears as a billing transaction, so this view is not a substitute for checking newly created payment transactions.
