What it does
Encounter+ organizes tabletop libraries, encounters, initiative and maps on iPhone, iPad and Mac. A player-facing display can be shown separately from game-master notes.
Use the player view when displaying a map on a TV or projector; it keeps private notes off the shared screen. The app can run a complete game without an obligatory subscription, while additional map features and support options have separate purchases. Device compatibility matters because this is an Apple-device application.
Encounter+ can import .dd2vtt or .uvtt maps, CSV files and images alongside modules and campaigns. Its built-in web server gives players a browser map where they can move tokens. That shared player view is separate from mirroring the map over AirPlay or HDMI.
