What it does
COMcheck provides energy-code calculation workflows for commercial and high-rise residential buildings under supported US standards.
COMcheck covers commercial and high-rise residential envelope, lighting and mechanical requirements. Select the applicable code in the current web version, which needs a new valid-email account; its list reaches 2024 IECC/90.1-2022, with different legacy code sets. Enter building systems and review the Compliance/Requirements screens before selecting report sections. Mechanical entries produce a certificate/checklist rather than an overall mechanical pass/fail. The current FAQ documents XML project download and internal sharing with contacts using their own accounts. Work in one window and coordinate editing: simultaneous changes can overwrite another user's work, and project files cannot be merged. The FAQ recommends one whole-building project/report; some 2021 IECC envelope checks require project energy-credit choices first.
