What it does
Energy Icons covers energy, engineering and related interface concepts. It publishes outlined SVGs, a React package, an icon font and a Figma plugin.
Energy Icons gives energy and engineering interfaces a vocabulary covering solar, wind, storage, grids, charging and heat systems. Search or filter the browser, then copy or download an outlined SVG. Developers can install energy-icons for React or use the published icon font in other web pages.
Its size system selects different optical drawings: sizes below 32 pixels use the 20-pixel master, while sizes of 32 pixels or larger use the 48-pixel master. Regular and Bold have their own drawings. If both Bold masters are unavailable for an icon, Bold falls back to Regular.
A direct import such as the Pylon component keeps a narrow selection separate from the complete library. SVG fill inherits the surrounding text color. The icons are free for personal and commercial work under MIT, with no product account needed for package installation or file use. Keep the licence file when distributing the assets.
Strengths
- The subject coverage includes specific energy and engineering concepts.
- Separate optical masters serve compact and larger display sizes.
Watch out for
- An icon without both Bold masters falls back to Regular.
Best for
- Energy and infrastructure dashboards
- Technical sustainability diagrams and controls
