What it does
Esri Training provides GIS web courses, instructor-led classes, labs, seminars and MOOCs, with learning plans for organizing study.
Start with a learning plan when you need several GIS skills to work together. A web course or lab can then address the individual operation you need to practice, while instructor-led options provide another format. Check the course level and software requirements before choosing a route into a particular mapping task.
Web courses combine activities with step-by-step exercises; ArcGIS Labs focus on a particular software workflow. Unlimited e-learning is included with current Esri software maintenance subscriptions, so check an existing My Esri or organisational account before buying access. Free events do not make every class free.
Strengths
- Learning plans connect individual GIS training activities.
