What it does
eToro combines asset-market views, investor-community information and portfolio features including CopyTrader. A virtual portfolio lets users examine the interface using simulated funds. Live instruments and charges depend on the account region and the type of position selected.
The market view groups assets by instrument and shows price changes beside the company identity. Community activity adds another perspective, but it should be read separately from company reports.
For practice, sign in and choose Virtual Portfolio from the menu under your username. It starts with US$100,000 in simulated funds and supports CopyTrader. The Real/Virtual control switches between account modes. Virtual orders carry no fees and do not affect the real balance, so their results omit costs that may matter in live use.

Stock commissions may be US$1 or US$2 per opening and closing transaction, depending on residence and exchange. The fee page has a country selector, and Estimated cost on the trade screen shows applicable charges. Some positions use contracts for difference, marked CFD in the execution window, with their own spread and overnight costs.
Local-currency withdrawals have no eToro fee; withdrawals from the USD account cost US$5 with a US$30 minimum. Live registration requires identity and address documents. Confirm the local entity and product availability before funding.
