What it does
Euler Math Toolbox combines numerical and symbolic methods with plotting and a matrix-oriented language.
Euler Math Toolbox combines a double-precision numerical kernel with symbolic Maxima operations and notebook plots. The First Steps guide uses decimal points, explicit multiplication and radians unless degrees are marked with ° or converted. A semicolon suppresses output; a colon after a plot inserts it into the notebook, which can be exported to HTML. Numerical fraction output is a representation of a floating-point result, not a change to exact arithmetic. For numerical solve, provide a starting value; the default method is secant and a target y can replace zero. Evaluate the expression at the returned root to inspect the residual. Symbolic solving instead returns solution expressions through Maxima. The GPL package targets 64-bit Windows, with selected Linux use through Wine.
