What it does
EUMeTrain provides satellite meteorology training through tutorials, case studies, simulators, learning modules and recorded events.
A weather case offers a concrete way to connect a satellite image with the conditions it represents. Use the tutorials for an unfamiliar concept, then examine a case or simulator to work through its application. Recorded events provide another route when a presentation is easier to follow than a written module.
A simulator or published case can be used independently of a scheduled training event. Advanced courses may target experienced forecasters and close registration before the start date, so use the event’s own prerequisites and deadline.
