What it does

mailworx is eworx's email marketing product for newsletters, personalised automation and recipient management. Its maintenance tools distinguish invalid addresses from delivery failures and automatically deactivated recipients. Professional starts at EUR 69 per month for one brand or organisational unit and five users, with the final price also based on annual sending volume.

Start a delivery-data cleanup in Recipients, Data Quality. mailworx separates predicted, detected and deactivated bounces. Predicted bounces indicate an earlier failure elsewhere in the infrastructure without establishing its type; detected bounces expose the type and failure count for the current brand or unit. An address rejected as invalid before sending is a different case from an address that later bounces.

Automatic deactivation depends on the bounce type and receiving provider. Correcting an erroneous address can reactivate the recipient. A response to an earlier email can also reactivate a contact disabled after soft bounces and reset its statistics. For a batch of obvious typing errors, export the affected records with Internal ID and use that ID to match the corrected import; the address itself is changing, so it is unsuitable as the matching key. Manual deactivation does not retain the same specific reason status.

The licence and annual sending volume determine the final cost. Published monthly starting prices are:

Option Starting price Team access
Professional EUR 69 One brand or unit and five users
Enterprise EUR 119 Multiple organisational units, unlimited users, roles and approvals
Dedicated SaaS EUR 2,590 A separate system with unlimited users and tenants

Professional users are added and managed by the eworx Service Crew. Enterprise administrators can use Administration > Benutzer > Benutzer hinzufügen, then assign a permission group and the relevant tenants. A tenant is a separate unit such as a brand, branch or department.

Strengths

  • Recipient maintenance distinguishes invalid addresses from several bounce states
  • Internal IDs support matching when correcting changed email addresses

Watch out for

  • Manual deactivation does not retain the specific automatic bounce-reason status

Best for

  • Email teams managing recipient data quality across one or several organizational units
